Terms of Sale & Website Terms — Elite Furniture

Website: https://elitefurniture.co.zw

Last updated: 9 May 2026

Draft placeholder only

This page is interim content for payment onboarding (e.g. Paynow). It is not final legal wording. Your lawyer should review and replace it before you rely on it for consumer protection, disputes, or regulatory filings.

1. Who we are

These terms apply when you use the website at https://elitefurniture.co.zw ("Site") and when you buy goods from Elite Furniture, with principal showroom contact address at 65 Churchill Avenue, Harare, Zimbabwe trading as Elite Furniture ("we", "us").

Elite Interiors is a related brand with its own site and commercial terms. Bespoke interiors and soft-furnishing orders may follow different lead times and deposit rules — see https://eliteinteriors.co.zw/terms.

2. Using this website

[Placeholder] You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to interfere with its operation. Product descriptions, photographs, and stock indicators are shown in good faith; exact finishes, dimensions, or availability may be confirmed in-store or by our team before your order is final.

3. Stocked goods vs bespoke / ordered items

[Placeholder] Some items are held in stock; others are ordered or customised to your specifications. The contract terms that apply (including cancellation and refunds) may differ depending on the product, supplier, and whether work has started. Our staff will confirm which category applies before you commit, and we will provide written order details where appropriate.

4. Prices, orders & payment

[Placeholder] Prices are as quoted at the time of order (in the currency and manner we specify). We may require a deposit before placing or releasing orders. Full payment may be required before delivery or collection, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

5. Lay-by (layaway) — Elite Furniture

Where we offer lay-by on eligible goods, the following applies unless we agree different terms in writing for a specific order:

  • You present a valid national I.D.
  • You place a 10% deposit.
  • The item is available for collection when payment is completed in full in accordance with the lay-by plan.
  • A 10% cash back applies when signing up for USD Smart Credit, subject to the programme rules in force at the time (eligibility, documentation, and campaign periods to be confirmed with our team).

[Placeholder] Late payments, cancellation during lay-by, and forfeit or restocking rules — to be confirmed by your lawyer and published here.

6. Lead times

[Placeholder] Estimated lead times depend on whether goods are in stock, on order from a supplier, or bespoke. We will give you an indicative timeframe when you place your order; dates are estimates unless we have agreed a fixed date in writing.

7. Delivery & collection

[Placeholder] Risk and responsibility for collection or delivery, insurance, and acceptance on delivery — to be set out by counsel.

8. Limitation of liability

[Placeholder for legal review] To the extent permitted by applicable law, we limit our liability for issues arising from the Site or your purchase as our lawyer advises. Nothing here is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded (for example certain consumer rights where mandatory laws apply).

9. Law & disputes

[Placeholder] Governing law and courts or dispute resolution — to be confirmed for Zimbabwe (or as your lawyer advises).
